2010 new INDOOR program for boys & girls:
All games will be played at the Reisterstown Indoor Sportsplex (701 Mitchell Drive 21136). Participating rec program teams will be Reisterstown, Lutherville, Cockeysville, Carroll Manor, Pikesville, & Hereford. Program will be games only; no practices. Fee is $75.00 per player. Reversible jerseys provided. Purpose of program is to provide a convenient reasonably priced opportunity with minimal time commitment for fun off-season organized lacrosse. We encourage all players to participate!
Eligibility: Registration is open to any 2nd thru 9th grade player, except total beginners. This program is not open to total beginners since there are no practices and little opportunity to coach and explain rules. Priority preference will be given to those who played for Reisterstown Rec Lacrosse in spring 2010. If space remains we will then accept in order received for all other players. (So players from outside our program are welcome; space permitting). Approximate number of players per team will be 13, 7 versus 7 format. Playing time will be relatively equal for all players, with sub rotations in regular intervals regardless of score.
Placement: There will be two sessions (one B/C and one A) as noted below. Players will be placed at their spring 2010 team placement level (B & C will be mixed together). It was agreed among participating programs to basically make this an extension of the spring season to eliminate the need for evaluations and make age/grade placement consistent. However, we will be allowing current 2nd graders who played in the spring to participate at the indoor Tyker B/C level to help prepare them for next spring. Tyker A requires prior travel placement or coach's recommendation.
B/C session one (for Lightning, Midget, & Junior): September 12 thru October 24, six or seven game schedule. These are proposed game days/times for each age; subject to change.
